All Ontonagon County and Townships’ property tax roll books dated 1999 and prior have been sent to the archives in Lansing. The public is welcome to go to Lansing and review volumes that are onsite at an offsite storage facility, or they can make a research request at the Michiganology store: https://shop.michiganology.org/products/general-research
In the Notes field, list the specific year, township, and the parcel number. There is a charge for the research and the turnaround with research requests is generally 21-28 business days.
